[...] Crazy Game Rulings Do you have any (or hear of any) strange and/or difficult rulings that had to be made during a football game? Share some of your plays so that we can learn some new interpretations and dig deeper into our rulebooks and casebooks. My goal with thisblog is to encourage officials to spend some additional time thinking about their work on the fields and courts around the world. The basic premise is simple: Spend more time thinking about your officiating and you will naturally improve. [...]

Hello fellow football officials. I'm currently a member of the TASO San Antonio Football Officials Chapter, and am more than willing to share our educational materials with my fellow "Maineiac" football officials. I'm currently stationed here in San Antonio Texas with the United States Air Force.

Second question, I'm close to retirement and I'm looking for information about football associations in the Kennebec Valley area (August, Gardiner, Winthrop, etc., etc.) and possibly Bangor. Any information or links you can send to me via email are appreciated. And is it true, you all just now moving to 5-man crews for HS football? And is that state wide, or just in Bangor?

At any rate, don't hesitate to contact me for training materials, etc.

I have initiated an idea to create a sports blogroll where bloggers from all sports disciplines could participate. All you need to do is to add my blog link to your blog and I'll do the same. That way, we could have a mutual partnership and we could refer visitors to each other's blog. Please let me know if you would be interested: basketballcolumnist@gmail.com. Thanks!

Yours in hoops,
